Wha you must do - Conduct

STUDIES & DOC
Do Everything You Read Here, and ...

This is a good beginning.

Once you are called or you are awakened, whether once a professing Christian or not -- this is a good place to start in getting your life in order and doing what it right.  But, only the Beginning.  Everything you read here says nothing about how may times to bow and scrape, wash or face, kill or murder ... it is all about what you do, what you should do.

Read it, believe it, do it, and it will change your life.

Unity in the Body of YaHshua (NIV -- New International Version, 1984)
Eph 4:1  As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
Eph 4:2  Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Eph 4:3  Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
Eph 4:4  There is one body and one Spirit-- just as you were called to one hope when you were called--
Eph 4:5  one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
Eph 4:6  one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Eph 4:7  But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.
Eph 4:8  This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men."
Eph 4:9  (What does "he ascended" mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions?
Eph 4:10  He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)
Eph 4:11  It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,
Eph 4:12  to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
Eph 4:13  until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Eph 4:14  Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.
Eph 4:15  Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.
Eph 4:16  From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
The New Life
Eph 4:17  So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.
Eph 4:18  They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.
Eph 4:19  Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more.
Eph 4:20  You, however, did not come to know Christ that way.
Eph 4:21  Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus.
Eph 4:22  You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
Eph 4:23  to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
Eph 4:24  and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Eph 4:25  Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body.
Eph 4:26  In your anger do not sin : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
Eph 4:27  and do not give the devil a foothold.
Eph 4:28  He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.
Eph 4:29  Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Eph 4:30  And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Eph 4:31  Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
Eph 4:32  Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Walk in His Love (YSRB -- YaHshua Servant's Reading Bible)
Eph 5:1  Be therefore imitators of the FATHER, as beloved children.
Eph 5:2  Walk in love, even as the messiah also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to the FATHER for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
Eph 5:3  But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;
Eph 5:4  nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting (course, or dirty joking), which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks.
Eph 5:5  Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of the messiah and the FATHER.
Eph 5:6  Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of the FATHER comes on the children of disobedience.
Eph 5:7  Therefore don't be partakers with them.
Eph 5:8  For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,
Eph 5:9  for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,
Eph 5:10  proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.
Eph 5:11  Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
Eph 5:12  For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of.
Eph 5:13  But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.
Eph 5:14  Therefore he says, "Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and the messiah will shine on you."
Eph 5:15  Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise;
Eph 5:16  redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Eph 5:17  Therefore don't be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Eph 5:18  Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,
Eph 5:19  speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing, and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Eph 5:20  giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord YaHshua the messiah, to God (El), even the FATHER;
Eph 5:21  subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of the messiah.

Wives and Husbands
Eph 5:22  Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
Eph 5:23  For the husband is the head of the wife, and the messiah also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
Eph 5:24  But as the assembly (church) is subject to the messiah, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Eph 5:25  Husbands, love your wives, even as the messiah also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;
Eph 5:26  that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
Eph 5:27  that he might present the assembly (church) to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Eph 5:28  Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
Eph 5:29  For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly;
Eph 5:30  because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.
Eph 5:31  "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh." (Genesis 2:24)
Eph 5:32  This mystery is great, but I speak concerning the messiah and of the assembly (ecclesia or church).
Eph 5:33  Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Children and Parents - Employees and Bosses  (ESV -- English Standard Version)
Eph 6:1  Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
Eph 6:2  "Honor your father and mother" (this is the first commandment with a promise),
Eph 6:3  "that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land."
Eph 6:4  Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Bondservants and Masters - Today, Employees and Employers -- Bosses
Eph 6:5  Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ,
Eph 6:6  not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,
Eph 6:7  rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man,
Eph 6:8  knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.
Eph 6:9  Masters, do the same to them, and stop your threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that there is no partiality with him.

The Whole Armor of God
Eph 6:10  Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
Eph 6:11  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
Eph 6:12  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Eph 6:13  Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
Eph 6:14  Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Eph 6:15  and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
Eph 6:16  In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;
Eph 6:17  and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,
Eph 6:18  praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
Eph 6:19  and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel,
Eph 6:20  for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

Final Greetings
Eph 6:21  So that you also may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord will tell you everything.
Eph 6:22  I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are, and that he may encourage your hearts.
Eph 6:23  Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord YaHshua the Anointed.
Eph 6:24  Grace be with all who love our Lord YaHshua our Lord with love incorruptible.
