YaHshua as Creator?
Q: Is Yeshua the creator of genesis?
A: First, it is YaHshua, not “yeshua” – yeshua means “salvation”. YaHshua means, YaH is salvation. That said, how is it some of us see YaHshua as the Creator of all things, the Earth and the Heavens and all we see. This does make Him the Father of Creation but not THE FATHER, whom He, YaHshua also came to reveal.
(Mat 11:27) All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knows the Son, but the Father; neither knows any man the Father, save the Son, and He to whomsoever the Son will reveal HIM.
We have many places where the Father is spoken of as a separate individual: Gal 1:1, 3; Eph 6:23; Php 21:11; 1Th 1:1; 2 Tim 1:2
It is clear, the Son and the Father are separate. YaHshua clearly says He reveals the Father. If everyone knew of the Heavenly Father then our Lord would not need to reveal Him. YaHshua, as it turns out is the Father of Creation, used by the Heavenly Father to create everything we see.
(John 1:1-3) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.
(John 1:14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
No mistaking these verses are talking about our Savior, YaHshua, and others too –
(Heb 1:2) Has in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, by whom also HE made the worlds; --
(Col 1:15) Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
This last verse, I believe, is saying more than what appears in a quick read. The, “…firstborn of every creature”, every creature or of all creations? Think about it, if YaHshua existed as the Creator of all things as authorized and ordained by God the Father then it seems to me this verse is revealing that YaHshua, even before His human birth, was the First thing the Father made. Interesting thought.
(Eph 3:9) And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hid in God (the Father), who created all things by YaHshua the Christ.
(Heb 1:2) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
(Col 1:16-17) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
YaHshua is the Creator as established by the Father in Heaven, whom YaHshua reveals. YaHshua is identified as the Creator in the OT by the name YaHWeH. This name, YaHWeH means YaH Causes to be, or will be or is. It is the last part of this name that defines the purpose of the one bearing that Name -- YaH is the Creator who causes to be. Just as we see YaH Shua, is saying what the purpose is for the son born into the flesh -- YaH Shua means, YaH is Savior, or salvation. He Said He came in the Father's Name -- correct on both counts.
This is not a popular teaching, to be sure, but a biblical one -- you decide.
