Angel YaHshua?

YaHshua Once an Angel?

Q:
The Mormons and other teach the our Savior was an Angel before coming in the Flesh.  Some teach he was Michael the Ark Angel.  How do you see this?  Ron

A: This is easy to answer if we just go to the Word, the Message once delivered by our Savior’s Apostles.  We are clearly told that God the Father has never "begotten" an angel as a son.

(Heb 1:4-6)  So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.  For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father"? Or again, "I will be his Father, and he will be my Son"?   And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him." NIV

(Heb 1:5)  For unto which of the angels said He at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? KJV

The question is asked, and it is interesting to note this question is being asked of the Hebrew Brethren.  This idea that the coming of the Savior would be an angel, predates the coming of our Lord.  Paul is putting an end to this speculation right here.  Of course, this is not good enough for some.

The danger is falling into the worship of Angels, which we are also warned against:

(Col 2:18)  Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions.

Also, with Paul’s question it would seem that no one could go to the Torah, or Scriptures (Torah and all of the Prophets) and find anywhere He ever said such a thing, or even invited such a thing to be a possibility.  Nope, Angels, all of them, are created beings, not begotten of the Father as He did YaHshua.  YaHshua’s preexistence has always been with the Father, called the Word, and by this Word, His Word,  the Father, created everything.  So, we can say, as John 1:13; 14, says there was not anything that was created that was not created by the Word, and then John tells us this Word became YaHshua.

YaHshua has never been an angel, ever.  To worship YaHshua as an angel is to engage in angel worship, and what would an Angel, in high standing, say about this?

(Rev 19:10)  At this I (John) fell at his feet to worship him (an Angel of the Lord). But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of YaHshua. Worship God (the Father)! For the testimony of YaHshua is the spirit of prophecy."

It seems that any angel from our Heavenly Father would refuse worship, and so should we.
