Adam and Eve -- the First AI ?
Q: What do you think about this AI stuff?  Could it be the end of man?   Or better yet, does the Bible say anything about it?
AI -- The First

June 14, 2023
A: The first AI was Adam and the second was Eve.  Think about it.  Of course of you think the Bible is just a bunch of tales from the past, all made up to tell the kids, or to scare the kids, well, then, this is not for you.  If, however, you are reading this, then, maybe it is for you.

What mankind has been trying to do for many, many decades, is to create themselves.  Imagine an earth filled with man and woman's images that walk and talk, communicating with one another, but all are machines.  Robot, right?  Many robotic images of humans are found in Si-Fi novels and movies.  The idea is not unfamiliar.

Recently the AI, Artificial Intelligence has hit the news and this is what your question is about.  And while this is not something new, or really new, new, it has been something men of "science" and authors of fiction have dreamed about -- making objects in our own image.

I believe that the real exposure to this kind of research and its application within the Digital market place, came that night on America's Got Talent, when a couple of guys demonstrated how they could digitally alter the faces of the singers on stage, with the faces of the Judges in near exact representation, leaving the audience amazed.  This, exposure brought a very high degree of pleasant surprise and interest by the public.  I believe, broke open public delight, and high interest level, gave the Digital and the Robotic sciences the opportunity to explain what has been going on behind the scenes (sort of).

What really broke out, seemingly overnight, was the digital ability to do more than copy faces.  Dialogue -- the ability to have and AI write your paper, or your script, and not stopping there -- replicating your voice to perfection.  In the digital world, at today's level of knowledge, this has become easy, so it seems, to do.

All in all, it is mankind playing GOD.  True, and I mean this in a lighter sense than some may think.  As I mentioned before, this is NOTHING NEW.  In fact, some six to seven thousand years ago, someone else did this -- accomplishing what mankind is attempting to do themselves, to create themselves.

There is a worry over this, especially with the speed at which this new (old) ability seems to be moving.  The mechanical robots, in the shape of men and animals is at its highest level ever, and not with the digital applications in image, married to voice and creative ability, mankind is close to doing what has already been done, resulting in us -- that is all of mankind.  We are the Robots, made into the image of our Creator.

Much more could be said -- let this be the short version of an observation I, so far, have not heard considered, but true, all the same.  Adam and Eve were the first, on Earth, AI creations.  We are the very thing that mankind seeks to do -- replicate himself.

Imagine success -- a world full of our own image, men and women, maybe, A-men and A-women?  And imagine these mechanical works speaking and creating and doing all of the things we can do.  What a blessing, right?  Or maybe not.  What if our creation of ourselves began to question their creators, and to question their purpose, and tire of serving mankind?  Imagine, again, these images of ourselves, deciding they do not need us.  Maybe these images of the future will think to replace us, and why not?  Of course, that it a reach, besides, it has happened before and is still process, being worked out -- you know, the bugs are being worked out.  Yes, now I am talking about those of us who are the descendants of those First AI creations.

Maybe we should get the bugs worked out of our own lives before venturing into creation ourselves.  What, are we in the midst of creating another type of life that is as rebellious and undependable as mankind?  A new kind of life that will not appreciate their creators?

You know, when something is replicated, over and over again, the replicate of something before, is degraded.  The degraded version, is not quite as sharp and image as the original, and if enough degradation takes place, say, too many copies, the image becomes almost unrecognizable.  Of course, the copy of the original image, may think otherwise and attempt to replace its creator, not admitting to its faults and flaws, thinking it to be the more perfect, and able to survive on its own.

Sound familiar?  What if we were offered something to make us new, better.  We can see that humanity is not eternal, we degrade and decay over time.  It is possible that mankind will recreate itself, a self image that will outlive its creator.  However, this is not the case with us.  Even AI, that Artificial Intelligence will fail, or degrade, just fall apart eventually.  After all, it is name, ARTIFICIAL, not the real deal.  Very similar to humanity itself.

The Upgrade --
An new Adam --
1Co 15:45  So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being" ; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
1Co 15:46  The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.
1Co 15:47  The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven.
1Co 15:48  As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.
1Co 15:49  And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven.  NIV

Think about it.  Pray about it.  The ultimate AI, becoming the True Intelligence, or, TI.   YaHshua came in the "artificial", putting that away, as all in the flesh must, is then revived in and eternal form, a permanent intelligence -- PI, if you want.  What mankind is doing is nothing new, as attempts are made to realize eternity.
