Jehovjah or Alleluia .. or?

Emails & Questions

Q: Sir, at the end of the article, are you saying his real name, Jehoshua is Allelujah (Rev. 19)?
I am very interested in studying about our LORD.
Jim

A: I have posted many articles        about His Name -- I believe the one you refer to has to do with        making a point that His Name has never been lost, only        misunderstood, even though it is in front of the read as it is        in Revelation 19.  For example, it is easy to prove that the        pronunciation for the "J" letter has been changed and to correct        this we need to use the letter "Y" -- thus restoring a better        pronunciation.  Once we do this and can see this truth, then we        can see how the term used in Rev 19, Allelujah, would better be        presented as AlleluYaH, and this then becomes a declaration of        Praising His Holy Name.  Even the pronunciation of Allelujah, or        in other translations as, Hallelujah, we hear the last, "jah"        pronounced as "YaH -- HalleluYaH = Praise You God YaH,        and that is exactly what is being said when anyone says in song        or shouts -- Hall (Hail, Praise) El (God) u        (you) Jah (YaH).  This applies equally to the older        term, Allelujah.  And even older in the Old Testament, Ps 106:1        being just one example -- understanding that LORD in large caps        is always a replacement, in the English Bibles for YHWH or        YaHWeH -- This is but one of many, many examples others --

KJV - Psa 106:1  Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the          LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Hebrew to English  Hebrew        Root Bible (HRB) -- Psa 106:1          Halleluyah! Give thanks to YAHWEH, for He is good; for His          mercy endures forever.

Christian Jewish Bible (CJB)        -- Psa 106:1  Halleluyah! Give thanks to          ADONAI; for he is good, for his grace continues forever.

I hope I have not gotten to        wordy.  If this is a help, then I am encourage that others have        and can benefit fro my years of research.  Peace, Dan
