Why do We Study?

Emails & Questions

Q: Why do we need to bother with Bible study?  Isn't Love enough?  All of the reading and analyzing is all so tedious, why bother?

A:  Our Reason for Doing what we should be doing -- growing in His Word
One thought shared with another, especially among believers, helps us grow in knowledge of Him, it may seem to be a waste of time, for some but it most definitely is not.  We are in training to become Kings and Priests and to rule with YaHshua (scripture support below) -- now that is saying something.  We will also "Judge the Angels", and we don't even see the half of it yet but for now it is our duty to grow the Spirit because the thing we will take with us as rulers of the future will help up rule properly and from knowledge and experience.  So keep growing my brother, never think you are spinning your wheels for nothing -- our Lord sees and our Heavenly Father sees and His Spirit bears witness with our Spirit that we are His.

(Rev 5:10)  And has made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

(Rev 1:5)  And from YaHshua the Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,  And has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

(1Co 6:3)  Know you not that we shall judge angels? How much more things that pertain to this life?

Some translators, not understanding our purpose in this earth and being uncomfortable with this last verse have translated "angels" as "world".  Either way, we are to be rulers with the Christ, and need to understand this is why we are, why we are to use out minds to think, read, study and ask for Spiritual guidance in understanding what is true and truth so when the day comes and we receive our promotion from the flesh to powerful spirit beings, truly Born Again as sons and daughters of the Living God, growing to become capable rulers, leaders, etc.  -- with the First Born, YaHshua.

If this means you repeat, and repeat again and again and again you will gain something more each time -- The words delivered to us, the New Covenant promises and teaching from Him and His Apostles preparing us for our destiny in the world to come, in the Kingdom of God.

All of what you are learning, those things that come slowly, making those slight changes in thought and stored away in our minds, in our spirit, those things that are good and right and taking these things with us, bound up within while all the evil and decay is left behind -- you will then be, by the power of His Spirit raised to a being capable and worthy to judge as He judges, being, then, a righteous King as He is then we will all truly live by and in His righteousness to rule into eternity as His.

What we learn now sets each of us apart in our differences but sameness of Spirit.  We will each have our place in His Kingdom so it is our responsibility to never think we have done enough or that we may be to close to the end for any of this, sometimes tedious, learning to mean anything.  If anything it means more as we grow closer to our own death and resurrection -- for the end that everyone talks about is really at the end of our own lives in the flesh -- from death, to resurrection and then reborn to Life Eternal in an instant, or so it will seem.

We are in training to be Kings and Priest and to be the Kings over whom Yahshua, the KING of Kings is to preside.  What?  You didn't think we were just to be sons and daughters of the living God and sit around doing nothing did you?  What?  Roll around Heaven all day?  Not likely, we have a future ahead of us as Children, literally, of God, THE GOD of all the Heavens.
