Walid Shoebat?  The Watchman of the United States, or Roman Apologist?

Idol worshipers to unite?

by your servant, Dan Baxley

Walid Shoebat is a courgeous defender of the faith, but which faith.  He constantly bad mouths the Protestants and defends the past actions of the Roman Catholic Church.

But, to be fair to Walid Shoebat, the protestants have not embraced his views, ignoring his earlier warning fell on deaf ears.  He is a brother with a strong message and this bothers the sensitive ears of Americans.  He has not left the Christian religiion for another religion and sees the believers across the board, not cloistered in some special group, outside of the Body of the Christ.  He sees the brothers and sisters mingled amongst the various groups and professing Christians, and this encludes many in the Roman Catholic religion. Of course, if he agrees with the Roman Catholics then he gets tagged as a deserter from the Evangelical side of Christianity.  It is not he that has changed his beliefs but those who are suspicious of him because of his literal take and belief in the Word of God.  He is caught in one of those circular rotations of not being able to please everyone.  The Catholics are supicious of him as are the Protestants, especially those on the liberal side. When he calls out the the Protestand/Evangelicals they spurn him.  Many find him an interesting speaker but it stops there.  This reminds me about a time Paul entered a Greek city that was very religiious, having an idol for every god, even one for the "Unknown" god.  Paul was invited to speak at a specail forum of all these idol worshipers and intellectual thinkers of the time and Paul told them about the God over all gods and most found what he had to say as interesting but few acted on what he had to say.  If the message isn't sweet and nice, few want to hear it or chalk it up as something interesting.  Walid's message, dating back to the 80's, has proven to be mostly true, but ignored.

Is Walid a Catholic, or a Protestant?  I would say neither, he is a believer and goes, as best he can in the way of the truth in service to our Savior.  He still calles on the Jesus of the Christians, but I think that is more for clarity, and not wanting to confuse his message.  I believe he knows the birth Name of our Savior and hope, in time, he would begin to use our Savior true identity in his message and warnings.  After all, in the end days of man's rule on this earth it will be a battle over names and identities asking the big question -- Whose God is your god, do you know Him, do you know His Name?  Walid has a message that is for our time and we should all pay attention.

Walid Shoebat, a Watchman?  Yes!

His prophetic insight is really great in unveiling the Beast of the East and apparently he does not have much love for the Christian Protestants.  Many recognize the Roman Church as the Mystery Babylon, wallowing in the blood of the saints, pretty much like the Islamic religion of the past and present.  This Mystery Babylon is said to have Daughters and these Daughters are recogonized as the Protestant Churches that came out of her -- this makes up the religion of the West, while Islam the religion of the East.  The Daughters of the Roman Mother, Walid likes to defend, follow the same traditions and customs, for the most part, except for the veneration of the Pope, but that may all change in the near future as the Protestant Daughters are beginning to accept certain key doctrines of the Roman Church, like the Trinity Doctrine, and excusing the veneration of Mary.  According to Walid Shoebat, the historical book, Fox's Book of Martyrs is a work of fiction.  He does dig up some documents painting the Roman Church as a victim of bad propaganda, not unlike may Nazi apologist who dig up documents excusing or accusing others of lying about them.  History benders everywhere.

Walid is definitely a defender of the believers in the Roman Catholic religion.  For someone escaping the talons of Islam the Roman religion is a good fit.  The Roman religion has taught "Replacement Theology" since its inception.  The Islamic religion agrees with this baseless doctrine.  The violence of the Roman Church from the past is well documented.   Not unlike the Islamic religion in the use of violence to spread its religion -- either convert or die -- that too was once a method used by the Roman Catholic Church when it had gained power and authority over Europe, and spread into the worlds of the Americas (North and South).  There are many similarities with the Roman Church of the past and the Muslim religion of the present and its past as well.

The True Corner Stone of Salvation

Some will mention the Islamic abhorrence of Idol worship but this is not true of all Muslims -- in fact, it is not true of the vast majority of those in the religion of Islam.  The Shia, or Shiite portion of Islam venerates images of Mary and other icons very similar to those of the Roman Catholics.  While the Islamic portion of religion, like the Sunni, apart from the Shiite, claim they do not venerate or worship any objects other than Allah they prove themselves to be deceivers.  As an example of this self deception: Five times a day they are commanded to bow down, facing toward Mecca, toward the black box, the Kabba (Cube), into which one corner there is embedded a black stone that is said to have fallen from heaven.  They worship this stone as well as the Kabba.  It is the desire of nearly every Muslim to make a journey to this Kabba stone, located in Mecca, walk around it seven times and kiss this stone from heaven for the forgiveness of sin.

Forget the kissing of this stone for the forgiveness of sin, an act not all are able to fulfill, the practice of bowing toward this Kabba, or cube, as a holy shrine is an act of idol worship in itself and this every devout Muslim attempts to do five times a day, no matter where they live.  The Bible demonstrates that to bow down before or toward anything is an act of worship, and act of idol worship.  The Muslims use the same excuse the Roman Catholics (well, many of them) that they are not worshipig the object, it icons and statues, but are only using these things as a connection to the God they are worshiping -- also, the Muslims express an adoration for Muhammad that is equal to that of the Christian Savior. It is undeniable, they are acting out from a position of worship, paying homage to a box, seeking forgiveness of sin by kissing a black stone.   When they are in the immediate presence the Kabba, most venerated, they seek to walk around it seven times and then kiss the Black Corner stone.  A stone prematurly embedded into one corner of this Kabba as the Islamic "corner Stone", and, of course, the stone is "black".  The way this stone is embedded into the corner/edge of the Kabba it actually weakens the structure as opposed to strengthening it as it is not a "foundation stone" as is our Lord YaHshua.

In the Christian Bible the True Corner Stone and also the foundation Stone is the Christ, YaHshua, and it is upon this Corner Stone the real Church, the real Body of the Christ is built.  Any builder will tell you the coner stone is always laid as the first stone out from which all other stones are laid as the foundation and then the rest of the building is stacked on these foundation stones.  If the Corner Stone is off, or misplaced, or crooked then the whole building is off and unstable.  The Corner Stone of the Kaaba is totally off, it is not even on the foundation, it is attached, embedded, into the corner of the Kaaba, in an unnatural way.  The lesson of the Corner Stone being our Savior uncovers the false corner stone trying to be something it is not.  People of the Islamic religion are as guilty of idol worship as the Romans.  The Roman priests kiss the statue of Peter, a seated statue that some say was originally the statue of Jupiter before being renamed.  That statue is black too, how ironic.  (See images below)

Paul said that if you want to live by the Law then you must keep it all, for to break even the least then you are guilty of breaking them all.  This is a problem for the Muslim as for the Jew.  The Roman Catholics have made up their own rules and built upon the ruins of the pagan past but their rules, customs and traditions are just as debilitating and guilt building as any.

Walid Shoebat, defends the Roman Church, and why not?  As Christianity goes they have the larger history, don't they?  It is the invisible Church of called out ones that our Lord and our Heavenly Father sees and anyone putting their faith in the works of men are due to fail in the end.  The Roman Church is built upon "traditions of men" and they happily admit this and laugh at anyone that would suggest our Church and faith should be built upon the the Word, upon the Scriputures and the words of our Savior and His Apostles.  Walid I think knows this, but his message is not about what religions do amongst themselves, all seemingly different in their approach and teachings -- Walid's message is about identifying the coming Beast, his mark and the mark of his name.  After all, it is going to be about the identity of the god you serve, just as in the days of Elijah.

Walid Identifies the Beast as coming out of the Middle East.  There is a Western side as well and it may be that the time will come when the East and the West will make some kind of bond, joining in and effort to rid the world of our Heavenly Father's people, Isreal, and true followers of YaHshua, Son of the living God.  Remember, the image in the book of Daniel, the one with the Head of Gold, then the each part of this image is explained until it gets to the Two Legs, from there down is not spelled out exactly what this part of the image pretains to --  with two legs, possibly an East and West, culminating in two feet of ten toes, losely joined together, as clay and iron.  Of course, clay and iron are different, as different in culture as the Islamic religion and the Roman religion.  We are told that in the days of the ten kings, represented by the ten toes, five on each foot, is when our Lord will come and smash them.

(Dan 2:20) Daniel answered and said: "Blessed be the Name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might.

(Dan 2:42) As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle.

(Dan 2:44) And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,

Nearly everyone recognizes the Iron of the Image of Daniel as Rome, the Roman Empire.  The feet of the image is part iron, bits and pieces of what was once the Roman Empire, and the Clay?  Clay, seems, by comparison, to possibly be the Arab nations in this discription.  It is only a suggestion, a speculation, to be sure, but I would not be surprised if some kind of lose union developes between the Roman/European Empire and the Muslim/Arab Empire.

Walid Shoebat is the watchman of the West, so, where is the Watchman for the East?  Seems to me we are only seeing one side when there are two sides, the East and the West.

Millions a day bow like the King of Babylon commanded for all to bow to the image he set up.  All of those white dots surrounding this balck cube (kabba) are Muslims.

The Black Stone is embedded in the corner edge of the Kabba.   The Black stone is surrounded by a silver frame that looks kinda like, well, sort of like, well, let your imagination go a little.  This is an object of adoration and veneration -- it is worshiped by the act of worship -- and kissed with the idea this will forgive sin -- amazing.
If you look closely at the picuture to the right you can see the silver casement holding the black stone on the very edge of the corner of the Kabba.  You can clearly see that this "corner Stone" supports nothing, unlike our Savior, the true Corner Stone upon which the whole Church of God is built.

Where is the true Stone to be laid?

(Isa 28:16) So, Adonai YAHWEH says this: Behold, I place in Zion a Stone for a foundation, a tried Stone, a precious Cornerstone, a sure Foundation; he who believes shall not hurry.

And just who is the True Corner Stone?

(Eph 2:19-22) Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ YaHshua Himself as the chief cornerstoneIn Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God (the Father) lives by His Spirit.

Remember, brothers and sisters of YaHshua, we must "Rightly divide the word of truth".    As we approach the end we need to understand there is the falling away and as in the days of Noah the believers will be few, not the many, and if our Lord does not come and if our Heavenly Father does not intervene into the affairs of men and of the Beast and the False Prophet (East and West?) not even the Saints would survive.  YaHshua gives us this warning and promise.

(Mat 24:22) And except those days were shortened, not any flesh would live. But on account of the chosen, those days will be shortened.

One more witness for the Corner Stone as our Savior, and not some black rock stuck in the edge of a building.  We heard from the Apsotle Paul and so what does Peter confess --

(1Peter 2:5-6) You also as living stones are being built into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God the Father through Yahshua Messiah. "As it is said in the Scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion an elect, precious Stone, a chief Corner-stone; and the one believing in Him shall not be ashamed!" (Isa. 28:16)
